Tom and I ended our relationship this past Sunday.
I don't feel like writing about my birthday celebration at this time.

Thankfully, I have been quite busy this week with work, and
haven't had too much time to re-live the details of our split.

I admire you so much and I hope you are doing okay. I'm glad work has kept you busy, but remember to take some time for yourself, too. And some tea...and maybe some ice cream...

I'm so sorry it didn't work out. Not an easy time, for sure. We don't ponder the term "birthday" hardly ever, but it made me think of birth- a new start. Birthday-renewal of your contract with life...
Kayla: I can't tell you how sorry I am that you guys split. Breaking up from a relationship is never ever easy.
Let me ask you this - were there warning signs? Did you see the breakup coming or did it come without warning? They can be especially hard to take when they blindside you.
It is good though that you have been busy with other things to help keep your mind off of the details. for a while.
Still, don't bury yourself with so much work that you neglect YOU and your emotions.
Remember too, the support that we, your blogger friends, will always have for you.

Hey, sorry to hear about your breakup :-( Its good that work keeps you busy and from revisiting all the gory details of what happened etc.
One of the best methods to get over a relationship, is to reinvent yourself. I did this the past summer, and I'm very satisfied with the results :-)
