Run for the Hills!!

This is a real photo by Jeff Kerr of a Shelf Cloud
over Saskatchewan.
They typically lead thunderstorms, which is
different from Wall Clouds, that
trail storm systems.
All I know is if I saw this approaching me, it would be cool to see, and
at the same time make me crawl under the bed and whimper
HA

Scary stuff!
I've seen these before, but it must be amazing to see with ones own eyes :]

Never had seen anything like that- would be quite a sight!

Hey up Dogga!
It is very scary looking..I would feel like Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz"!

Hi Buffalo,
Yep, it would be. I love the weird shapes of clouds.

That's cool! What beautiful colors in those clouds.

Kayla,
The blazers were OHHHH so close the other night were you there?

Hey Green,
The sun is lighting up the orange portion. It is beautiful!

Phats,
You bet I was there! It was a heartbreaker...we shot the last basket and thought we had won with 80 points, but time had run out. It was sad, all the UAB fans were jumping up and down and screaming, and them we got the bad news.
At least it proves we are as good as Memphis.
Maybe we'll beat them in the playoffs.

That cloud looks like sandstone. Very cool!

How ya been?

Hi Grunt,
Never thought of it that way, you're right!

I've been doing okay...little problems here and there, but I really can't complain. Met a really sincerely nice single man at church...older than me, but that's the way I like it!

how much older??

Hi Green,
He is 40. Tall, with silver hair (that kind of mix between grey and white) and mustache. Seems genuinely kind and friendly. He went to the basketball game with me and 2 others and had a blast. He is being cautiously flirtatious with me. That is the perfect way to treat me right now...after the horrible breakup.

SO that makes him 5 years older than yourself?

Do you find him attractive? Can you see yourself in a relationship with this fella?

However it works out between you and he, I wish you all the best, dear friend.

You deserve nothing less.

PS Can you see this cool lunar eclipse tonight? Wow!!

I agree, it's kinda freaky looking/cool at the same time!!

Kayla, awesome news about your new friend. It's so nice when you can just be comfortable with someone.
I wish you well! :)

Hi Green,
He is 6 years older than me. I don't turn 35 until July.
I find him very attractive, in a much more casual way than Tom. Tom was very handsome, a knockout. Chris is cute, more laid back, dresses casual, and has an endearing smile and laugh.
I don't know him well enough yet to say if I could see myself in a relationship with him, but it all looks good so far.
The process of getting to know someone is very exciting, and I tend to get caught up in that. I will be more careful this time!
Thanks for wishing me the best, my friend.

Hi Snow,
Good description of the cloud!
Yeah, I hope our friendship becomes closer and if I like what I discover about him, maybe a relationship will happen.
He is extremely comfortable to be with...a good sign.

kayla: that's a nice and reasonable age difference. Didn't you say that you prefer older men?

Yes, getting to know someone with relationship potential is exciting and scary too, in the sense that you begin to open the deepest parts of yourself up to another person and don't necessarily know how they will react or if they will open themselves up to you.

Good luck!

Green,
Yes, I do prefer older men.
It is both exciting and scary to open yourself up to someone, hoping for a relationship.
He did step up from a handshake at church to a hug. I'm getting good vibes from him...
We'll see.
